About Mannin Cancers
Mannin Cancers is the sibling charity of the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group. Formed in early 2019 to fundraise for diagnostic equipment to help male cancer patients on our Island.
It’s first mission was to raise enough money to fund Transperineal Biopsy a much needed piece of Diagnostic equipment to help with the diagnosis and staging of Prostate Cancer. We also together with Manx Breast Cancer Support Group have funded 2 Spectral CTScanners and have furnished the new Ct/MRI Scanning Suite at Nobles Hospital. Our aim is that diagnostics for male cancers should be the absolute best on our Island to help save patients and their carers the upset and trauma of traveling to the UK for these procedures. The sooner the diagnosis the better the outcome.
All money raised by Mannin Cancers stays on the Island to help improve the Patient experience for men on our Island Diagnosed with Cancer.
